This is a treat that you only get at luau’s in Hawaii.
Cook time: 5 Min Prep time: 20 Min
2 cups coconut milk
1 1/2 cups water
1/2 cup sugar
2 Tbsp sugar
1/2 cup cornstarch
pinch of salt
1. Combine ingredients in saucepan and cook over low heat stirring frequently.
2. Cook until the mixture thickens and come to a full boil.
3. Pour into an 8 inch square pan.
4. Chill until firm.
5. Cut into 9 squares. Sprinkle with coconut if desired when serving.
